What Does the Bible Say About Women?
Scripture reveals that women bear God's image fully, possess distinct dignity and purpose, and share equal standing in Christ while living out complementary roles in marriage and community.
Scripture on Women
If you're a woman, spend 15 minutes reading Proverbs 31 and write down one quality that resonates with who God is calling you to become. If you're a man, ask the women in your life how you can better honor and support them.
Prayer
Jesus invited women into his mission when cultural custom excluded them—he calls us to pray boldly into how we see and value women (John 11:25-26).
Father, forgive us for the ways we've diminished women—in our churches, homes, and culture—when Scripture declares they bear your image as fully as men do. Open our eyes to see women as Jesus did: with radical dignity, invitation, and trust. Help us build homes and communities where women flourish in their calling. Guard us from pride that demands dominance and from passivity that abdicates responsibility. Give us courage to live out what Scripture actually says, not what culture whispers. In Jesus' name, Amen.
