What Does the Bible Say About Stewardship?
Scripture reveals that everything you have—gifts, time, money, abilities, creation itself—belongs to God, and you're responsible for managing it wisely on His behalf.
Scripture on Stewardship
Identify one resource you have (time, skill, money, influence) and ask God specifically how He wants you to steward it differently this week. Then do one thing.
Prayer
Jesus invites you to bring your honest questions about responsibility and faithfulness to the Father (Matthew 6:11).
Father, I confess I often act like owner instead of steward—holding tightly to what You've actually entrusted to me. Help me see clearly what You've given me to manage: my time, my gifts, my resources, my relationships. I want to be faithful with what's in my hands, not because I'm afraid of judgment, but because I trust You and want to honor what matters to You. Show me today where I'm neglecting my responsibility or hoarding what should be released. Make me a faithful manager of Your grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.
