God consistently offers fresh starts — not because we've earned them, but because His mercies are new every morning and His power makes all things new.

2 Corinthians 5:17
New Testament

Philippians 3:13-14
New Testament
"Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
Revelation 21:5
New Testament
"He who was seated on the throne said, 'I am making everything new!' Then he said, 'Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.'"
The Bottom Line
Your past doesn't define your future when God is writing the next chapter.
Try Today
Tell God one thing from your past you're ready to stop rehearsing, and ask Him to show you the new thing He's doing.
Prayer
Jesus taught us to pray with confidence, knowing the Father hears us (Matthew 6:9).
Father, You are the God who makes all things new. I'm tired of being defined by what's behind me — the failures, the regrets, the broken pieces. I need Your mercy this morning, fresh and real. Show me the new thing You're doing in my life right now, even if I can't see it yet. Help me press forward with my eyes on Jesus, not on my rearview mirror. In Jesus' name, Amen.
