Scripture reveals heaven as our eternal home where God dwells with His people, free from all suffering and filled with unimaginable joy.

"My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."
Revelation 21:4
New Testament
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Isaiah 65:17

The Bottom Line
Heaven isn't an escape from reality — it's the ultimate reality we were made for.
Try Today
Thank God for one specific thing in your life today, knowing it's just a foretaste of what's coming.
Prayer
Jesus taught us to pray, 'Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven' (Matthew 6:10).
Father, You are preparing a place for me that's beyond anything I can imagine. Sometimes this world feels heavy, and I forget that my true home is with You. Help me live today with my citizenship in heaven, not clinging too tightly to what's temporary. Give me eyes to see glimpses of Your kingdom breaking in now, and a heart that longs for the day when every tear is wiped away. In Jesus' name, Amen.
